This tea is organically grown!

A very easy going tea. Bright, tightly rolled leaves that have a deep mossy tone and beautiful shine, with fresh, floral aromas. The tea soup is a clean, mellow, pale jade tone. The tea body reminiscent of a gunpowder style strength giving rich and bold flavours with mild vegetal notes, florals and sweetness to finish.

Harvested in late April from tea trees are grown around 1000m, picking one bud and two leaves, carefully crafting these early tender leaves following traditional processing methods from a tea style that has its origins from Guangxi Province. Where the unique Ling Yun Bai Hao tea cultivar (typically used to produced Jade Snail) was originally developed and grown in the mountainous north west regions of Guangxi.

Like many orthodox teas Jade Snail is named after the appearance of its finished leaves, being carefully rolled into spirals that resemble the snails shell which unfurl as you brew revealing the beauty of the jade green whole leaves.
